Mityana District Chairperson launch Wabiyinja- Mpenja road (9.5KM)

Mityana district chairperson together with the district woman member of Parliament has today launched the construction of the Wabiyinja- Mpenja road in Butayunja Sub County over 9.5 km worth 62 million.
The Launch was presided over by Mityana District Chairperson Patrick Mugisha Nshimye and the District Woman Member of Parliament Hon Joyce Bagala Ntwatwa the chairperson of Butayunja Sub County and the locals.
Chairperson Mugisha assured residents that all the big swamps that are in the district are going to work on them so that the roads can be passable.
Mugisha urged residents to engage in all government programs like PDM, Emyooga, and other programs so that they can fight poverty in their families.
Mityana District Woman Member of Parliament Hon Joyce Bagala Ntwatwa thanked the Mityana district for the service they are giving the people of Mityana.
She went further to say that as a Member of Parliament, they are working hard to see to it that they increase the funds for roads in all districts in Uganda.
Hon Bagala asked the parents of Butayunja to educate their children as the only way they can benefit from their children. She added that many parents have failed to take their children to school yet we have government schools in the district.
Mityana District Engineer Jack Katende said that they are going to do Routine mechanized maintenance and they are going to put gravel on some bad spots on the road.
Engineer Livingstone Mwanuke said that they are going to use 62 million and they are to work on the road.
Butayunja Sub County Lwanyaga Livingstone Ngongento asked the district chairperson to help them and they take Kitebere –Kagavu to be a district road and Gomba- Mpenja.
