The Water and Environment Ministry has handed over a solar-powered water supply project for Kyamusisi and Kiryokya in Kalangaalo Sub-county. While handing over the project, Ministry Engineer David Bateganya thanked the contractor for the good work done and for completing the project within the agreed time.

He further appreciated the Government of India for its cooperation with the Government of Uganda, noting that the funds for the project were secured through the EXIM Bank of India.

PDM Beneficiaries Cautioned to Use Funds as Planned

Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Emmanuel Zirabamuzaale has called on beneficiaries of the Parish Development Model (PDM) in Mityana district to use the funds strictly according to their approved business plans, warning that mismanagement will not be tolerated.

Minister of lands, Housing and urban development Hon Judith Nabakooba Nalule, has commissioned a newly constructed health facility at Mpongo health center III in Bbanda sub county Mityana District.

The facility was constructed under the UGFIT funds and it has coasted over 800 million shillings to serve the community of Bbanda Sub County and the surrounding area of Bbanda Town council.
